Stop Motion workshop

This week we worked in groups to test out animation techniques and create a film for our 'creature' we created from our primary needs costume.
We had a idea to create paper creatures from our costume designs. Used a projector for the woodland background to set the scene.
As a group we all were quite different and had weird ways of 'eating'.

Laura - Spaghetti wool into her head and then new hats appear

Hasmita - Diffusion of ciabattas into her skin
Me( Vicky) - As my creature had wings and was like a butterfly, and very colourful I eat coloured leaves.

Life Drawing Class

This evening I went to the free life drawing class at the prince's drawing school, really close to where I live so I'll try to go every week! Here are a few drawings I did at the class.

Just a few more of my coloured playful world. Our brief is to make a costume of our needs and create a 'being' something that fits in your costume and needs. Mine will be very colourful, fun loving, yet peaceful and dreamy. I want to use lots of flowery fabrics with sewn on drawings, that draw people in to the colourful world. Below are some ideas so far.
