Stop Motion workshop

This week we worked in groups to test out animation techniques and create a film for our 'creature' we created from our primary needs costume.
We had a idea to create paper creatures from our costume designs. Used a projector for the woodland background to set the scene.
As a group we all were quite different and had weird ways of 'eating'.

Laura - Spaghetti wool into her head and then new hats appear
Harriet- Black Sabbath lyrics through her ears
James- Drinking cup of tea
Hasmita - Diffusion of ciabattas into her skin
Me( Vicky) - As my creature had wings and was like a butterfly, and very colourful I eat coloured leaves.

Life Drawing Class

This evening I went to the free life drawing class at the prince's drawing school, really close to where I live so I'll try to go every week! Here are a few drawings I did at the class.

my needs

Just a few more of my coloured playful world. Our brief is to make a costume of our needs and create a 'being' something that fits in your costume and needs. Mine will be very colourful, fun loving, yet peaceful and dreamy. I want to use lots of flowery fabrics with sewn on drawings, that draw people in to the colourful world. Below are some ideas so far.

I've got an etch

Went to the etching workshop today arrived hour late because I don't normally get up to college for half nine and I had to get a new ID card because I lost mine mysteriously at the weekend. anyway I really enjoyed it and was very productive did 3 prints of my zebras.
